The campus protesters of the ‘60s were boomers.
Early-gen boomers that became the MBAs and politicians we now suffer with. They grew up.
Campus protesters today are late-gen millennials, and “end-of-alphabet” generations.
They have an entirely different mindset.
The difference is that the 60s protesters understood that nothing will be given to them and they would need to work within a team to accomplish whatever silly idea they may have had.
Today’s protesters have never been told ‘no!’ and just throw a tantrum, irrespective of the cause.
Like the toddler throwing a “grocery store” tantrum, they expect to be left alone on the floor of the aisle until they are finished.
