Oh please these students are harmless. Back in ‘68 they were bombing local draft offices and doing all kinds of violent and crazy things. This is nothing by comparison. The media is making a big deal of this stuff as a distraction.
That's when it peaked. Less violent protests (like today) started in 1964 and gradually accelerated over the next few years.
What you're witnessing today is just the start of worse things to come.
We're not dealing with idealistic, pot smoking hippies looking to get laid. These protests/riots are highly organized and financed by groups out to destroy America and they are supporting savage, brutal Islamists who have sworn to destroy us.
It's going to get worse.
Keep trying to deflect. At some point, soon, that handle is going to break off.
No one except Leftists likes the way things are going. The Leftists keep believing that nothing will happen.
Last Monday, here in the 'burbs, there was a car jacking. The perp got a whole new series of body apertures for his trouble. There are two LEOs who are under suspension for doing their assigned job. That does not excuse the fact that it happened HERE.
It's getting close to CW2, and this time, no prisoners.

There are big differences.
First is that in the sixties it was mostly students and panthers. The drama then was STOP THE WAR. Today there is a large group of
1. Leftist Marxists, comparatively.
2. A large easy to manipulate homeless population.
3. Millions of unknown illegals of fighting age.
4. A sense of entitlement that is profound.
5. An uneducated and ignorant populace even at the higher levels.
6. A leftist elite not just a few sympathizers
7. Powerful government elites trying to extend power.
8. A military that is unreliable at the highest levels.
9. A belief in self above others combined with a lost sense of sociatial cohesion.
10. A belief in self and loss of religious belief.
11. An acceptance of sexual deviance and mores.
12. An overt and high level of racial hatred among blacks with targets being whites.
13. Rampaging crime and no laws and no enforcement to cow the populace.
14. This oppression occurring on a worldwide basis.
15. Powerful communication devices in every pocket
We are at a turning.
It’s not about the ‘students’ or, for that matter, the protesters at all.
