Remember they attacked us because we hated them. Who ever gave them a thought before that? I remember over 20 years ago when the old USSR was having troubles with the influx of Muslims and I thought - can’t happen, the world won’t allow it! Wrong again!
Let me go against the Conventional Wisdom and say that IMO, the “moderates” are the ones who wittingly or not (both actually) feed the jihad.
They may not agree with the violence, but the vision of the future they have matches that of the jihadis quite nicely.
