All three victims were Jewish, one was an Israeli citizen. What police originally called a drug crime may have been Tamerlan Tsamaev's first act of Jihad.

It’s a “bad drug deal” just as much as what Hasan did was “workplace violence”.

Interesting to note that as many people died in this incident as did at the Boston Marathon bombing.

Another terrorist attack that the WH needed to cover up before the election.

I suppose there are some in the government who think that American citizens are too weak to handle terrorist news. We’re not. And by covering up information about terrorists and terrorist attacks, the American people then become effectively handcuffed. We need the truth so that we can prepare to defend ourselves. Beware those who would hide terrorist information from the American people. They also then hide their own incompetence.

He slept until 3 p.m., and you know, I would ask him: ‘Have you come here to sleep?’” his father said. “He used to go visiting, here and there. He would go to eat somewhere. Then he would come back and go to bed.”

Papa is flipping on the story. Previously, he'd claimed Tamerlan was with him the whole time doing construction work so didn't have time to hook up with radicals Mahmud Mansur Nidal and Plotnikov.

The Waltham murders were as much a drug deal gone bad as Ft. Hood was workplace violence. Our government has already given America over to our enemies and we haven't realized it yet.

Do you believe that the FBI is so incompetent that a confessing murderer, mixed martial arts professional, and associate of a notorious terrorist can prepare his confession in front of them AND THEN GET AHOLD OF A KNIFE???

The man who was shot, Todashev, 27, allegedly attacked an agent with a knife while confessing to the 3-year-old slayings.

IMHO, the ultimate in convenience.

Just remember this. Tamerlane Tsarnaev espoused his abition to “join the US olympic team,” befriended these people, worked out with one of them daily at the gym, and easily cut their throats from ear-to-ear.

It's not clear to me why the FBI would have been involved in a local "drug murder" at the time of the murder, if they were, the media could mess that up. But if they were, why?

That said, the killing seems to be have been dismissed as a drug crime, which does happen all the time. However September 11, three Jews murdered by near beheading, ritual placement of the bodies, marijuana (some sources say 7 pounds) spread over the bodies, $5,000 cash left behind. As a nonprofessional this would suggest the possibility, to me, as perhaps something other than a drug killing. Three Jewish victims, throats slit, there might be a line of pursuit suggested there. Tamerlan being a friend of one of the victims, news reports suggesting other friends indicating Tamerlan was acting strangely after the death of his friend, who knows, pursuing that thread might have led authorities to an Islamic terrorist. Sorry, I shouldn't describe him that way, I hope political correctness wasn't the reason that line of reasoning wasn't pursued. And I hope that wasn't the reason warnings were ignored by the FBI. Mistakes happen, I prefer that to willful ignorance, which will repeat itself
