Actually, I believe that Al-Qaida is the Persian version of the spelling.

Al-Qaida (Arabic) = Al-Qaeda (English)
Persian = کمپ for (”the” camp) (”the” was ignored by Google Translate)
My understanding is Arabic has a western character form.
I’ve not seen a Persian equivalent.
Turkey (Ottoman Empire) did not until after WWI, when an Armenian Scholar provided the Turks with western print characters language.
