I remember thinking in the runup to the 2020 election how it resembled a color revolution.

Assuming those dots in the article are connected accurately, 2020 and 2022 are attempts at "continuity of government", just not the government we learned about in civics class.

2016 caught them offguard.

Have to wonder if a day is coming when we will see files getting torched like the Stasi did after German reunification....
