The fact that sports produce ‘heroes’ shows how simple minded we have become, for example:
People going bonkers with joy because some guy was able to catch a ball inside an endzone. Then the guy, that was their hero, gets offered more money to play for another team. The hero then does the same ‘heroics’ against his former team.
