nothing will get the Biden regime from screwing things over until and unless Trump can unseat it.
I am always hopeful but the Demo ETM (election theft machinery) seems to still be firmly entrenched in several key states

“This is not the US telling them to retire them”

LOL!!! Just as they’re on the verge of war with Iran.

Others can decide what makes sense...

“Huh? It sounds as if Israel is choosing to retire its Patriots because it finds them inadequate.”

Inadequate when they’re facing a HUGE COUNTRY with all kinds of weapons, including fighter planes, which the Patriots are designed to take out.

Zeepers may HATE Israel, but even Zeepers have to admit that they are VERY SMART, and because of that there is NO WAY they’d give up a well-developed weapons system for a ‘promise’ of something years out in the future.

They’re not that dumb, but they are that DESPERATE, given how badly the Zeepers need their Patriots in Ukraine to drive this war beyond the November elections.

“So giving the Ukraine a defense weapon will only kick the end of the war a little further down the road and will cost many lives, more in the Ukraine.”

Is that not now the objective from the Zeepers, after all, they’re now talking about coming up with a deal to end hostilities in 2025?

” Israel first used Patriots in combat in 1991 against approximately 40 Scud ballistic missiles that Iraq fired at its cities. While the bombardments did not kill large numbers of people, Israel was disappointed with the Patriot’s pitiful performance, with officials estimating it shot down only one or possibly even zero Scuds. “

This is not the narrative we were given at the time.

I wonder how different Ukraine War media narratives will be in 30 years, compared to what we are being told now.

I wasn't even aware that "Zeepers" had any particular view on Israel, pro or con.

Do you know what the "Zeeper" policy position is regarding vanilla vs. chocolate?

Cannot say regarding flavors, but if they’re demanding, if not Blackmailing, Israel to send their Patriots over to Ukraine, especially given how HOT the Middle East is, it’s QUITE CLEAR where their priorities lie.

I don’t think they do. Their selfish response to 10/7 was to ramp up Ukraine posts because they didn’t like Israel getting any of the attention.

Zeepers only care about Ukraine. And they want FR to be all Ukraine all the time.

1. With what can "Zeepers" blackmail Israel?

2. I guess Ukraine's priority is Ukraine. And Israel's priority is Israel. I don't see how either of that is outrageous.

So there's a posting war between Zeepers and Zionists? I hadn't noticed.

“1. With what can “Zeepers” blackmail Israel?”

Pretty much EVERY weapons system Israel gets from the US, from 223’s up. Not to mention the economic aid. The present, Zeeper-dominated, government of the US absolutely HATES Netanyahu, and was trying to drive him out of power when Oct. 7th happened - his survival is the LEAST of their priorities.

“2. I guess Ukraine’s priority is Ukraine. And Israel’s priority is Israel”

I agree with both, so for Israel, being cut off from the remaining US weapons and economic aid, along with losing US support in the UN is worth giving up their Patriots to Ukraine, and hoping things don’t get worse with Iran. But it is STILL hurting Israel to lose those weapons, regardless of what is promised by the Zeepers 5 to 10 years down the road.

they’d have to be pretty damned poor performers for the IDF to retire them from deployment

And people who worked with those systems tell me that the Patriot system is exactly "a pretty dammed poor performer". Better than nothing. Too expensive to use against low-cost swarm attacks. Useless once you run out of missiles. Requires fixed emplacements which take a lot of time to move.

The Israelis make better stuff now on their own.

The requirements for air defenses have changed considerably from when the Patriot system was designed. Systems must be very mobile with almost zero spin-up time once stopped and activated, and systems must deal with large swarm attacks.

The balance of force favors the attacker right now.

The Patriot Missile was designed in the late ‘60’s……of course it took years to test, etc before it was produced in 1976
…my husband was part of this team

It has served us well…..

that sounds right

thanks

protecting and funding the enemy (Iran comes to mind) is not a success strategy. and certainly not as against these Islamicist terrorist states and gangsters like Hamas, PLO-Abbas, and AlQaida. They must be eliminated before they simply attack again, it is just this simple.

Concurring bump...the US interceptors had just a 25% success rate against Iranian missiles, while the Israeli interceptors scored 90%.

"Just in time for a war with Iran. Can’t say I’m surprised that the Zeepers are ready to leave Israel DEFENSELESS against Iran, since they never liked Israel much to begin with."

Plenty of Ukies served Hitler in WWII by eliminating Jews in Ukraine and in concentration camps.

“What....something better then Patriot.? What have I missed..?”

The Russians have much better, as they (including the Soviet Union) decided to concentrate on air defense, rather than trying to outdo the West in aircraft. After all, there was a reason why both Turkey-yeah! and Greece BOTH bought Russian systems over the Patriots, both NATO countries, by the way, and it wasn’t cost, as they were given good deals from the US.

Sadly, now, due to the Zeepers, Russia won’t be selling us their systems, and we’ll have to figure out a way to get the Patriots to work...which so far has been hopeless, as far as their performance in Ukraine is concerned.
