More than two-thirds of Americans fear pro-Palestinian demonstrations at college campuses will result in violent confrontations, according to a new poll.
The survey, released Wednesday by USA Today and Suffolk University, found that nearly 32 percent of Americans said they are “very concerned” the protests will end up in violence, while just more than 35 percent said they are “somewhat concerned.”
Nearly 15 percent of respondents said they are “not very concerned,” and 14 percent said they are “not at all concerned.” About 3 percent were undecided, per the poll.
Protests calling for a cease-fire in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in Gaza have roiled college campuses across the nation for nearly three weeks as demonstrators call on universities and the U.S. to sever ties with Israel. More than 1,000 people — students, faculty and others — have been arrested since the first major encampment began at Columbia University about three weeks ago.

I am completely convinced the Campus protests will lead and already has lead to violence, but I am not “concerned”.
Democrats need a foil to rail against, something they are certain the fake news morons will cover breathlessly.

Yes, even here on our local campus in Reno. Just got this email a bit ago: “Please be aware there is a planned protest on campus near the Knowledge Center at 2:00pm today. UNR Police are aware and will monitor the area. Students who are planning to remain on the UNR Campus after school should do so with caution.”
of course there will be violence when violent hate-filled gangs take over public or college facilities or roadways, threaten innocent American citizens, attack some including from the back, etc.
That is already SERIOUS violence, and criminal conduct.
Waiting to see the police do their job and haul these immoral scumbags off to trial and prison.

I’m not concerned. I don’t live near a city, and I’m not going to the Democratic National Convention, and I trust the RNC has made appropriate security plans for Milwaukee (although who knows about that last one).
