Mass migration has not delivered significant GDP growth per capita for the United Kingdom, but it has increased strain on the country, according to a new study.
While illegal immigration recently hit record highs in the United States, legal immigration poses a significant issue for the U.K., where legal migration levels are more than 25 times the level of illegal levels, according to a report Wednesday from the Centre for Policy Studies, a U.K. think tank and advocacy group.
The percentage of foreign-born people in the U.K. nearly doubled over two decades, with 9% of the population being foreign-born in 2001 to 17% in 2021, which is even higher than the U.S., where 14% of people are foreign-born.

When you bring in millions of unvetted illegal aliens, they put a strain on housing, medical services, county budgets, and law enforcement depts. A greater demand for housing causes the price to go up and when the tax-payers are paying the cost for the illegals, guess who guess priority? Tax-payer dollars over-filling aliens pockets causes inflation since more dollars are chasing the same product. This should be ECON 101 with no study needed.

The influx was allowed as the path for least resistance rather than just stopping them...and the governments involved didn't want to be taken to task by the Lefties who they'd have p!$$3d off by doing so. Gutless wonders, with little concern for real legal citizens, just let it happen.
This is the “Destruction Phase” of “Build Back Better”.
It also takes about 3 generations for them to be educated enough to join mainstream society. That is assuming they can join and want to join. Unfortunately, they often prove to be willing parasites, because they don’t have to work.
For example, the 10 million illegals imported by the Biden Administration increase the population of the US by 3% which provides for an artificial economic growth of one percent or so.
Unfortunately, this economic growth is based on government funded welfare payments supplied from borrowed money which increases the national debt.
The welfare money given to the illegals is distributed to Democrat cronies who are the players who control the illegal alien money distribution networks and to the foreign drug cartels that traffic the illegals into the country.
Gee, mass importation of low skill to no skill people into a welfare state ... you’d think their was gonna be something different?
Well duh. The illegal Mexicans now consume more in welfare benefits than Americans. If they really wanted immigrants to boost the economy they would have restricted immigration to those who are educated and skilled but they don’t. They are intentionally changing the demographics to upset the political balance in this country and push their leftist agenda.
Victor Hanson in his latest podcast really told the truth. He said the USA should limit LEGAL immigration to 250,000 per year AND get back to vetting people for the contributions that they can make to the country.
He points out the very high number of foreign born people here and how the schools no longer teach assimilation and becoming an American. It’s an absolute disaster.
And that doesn’t touch on the problem of the 30 million illegals here and the thorough corruption of our electoral processes they cause.

With all due respect to the great VDH, many people have been saying the same, for years.
Every single illegal and any of their progeny should be summarily dropped over their own border, post haste. “Legal” immigration should be halted for no less than 5 years, and after that, no one without significant, provable skills to add to our society should be considered.
If they were a bunch of Indian IIT grads and Russian physicists, they likely would add value.
However...
Forty million expelled at this point would be a massive boon to their home countries—and all of a sudden let the Zoomers and Millennials afford home ownership while being well employed—even if with marginal skills.
While thankfully restoring to peace to those remaining as their fellow Americans can no longer as economically hire a bunch of guys to crank the noise while blowing leaves onto whatever neighbor’s property, week after week after week.
You also lose cultural cohesiveness...and increase isolation. Instead of a community of people with empathy, shared memories and hospitality for the occasional visitor, you get gangs and mobs with no national identity and loyalty, and no sympathy for others. There will be fewer and fewer people with enough in common to unite the country when it is in peril, and plenty of reasons not to unite.

I challenge anyone to show where mass migration has had a positive affect on any part of national life, anywhere. - economic, health, education, crime, morals, etc.
Mass migration is a great equalizer by drawing every nation down to the status of a third world country - the common denominator. For the sake of our children, all migration must cease and borders closed to all except local traffic.
