Former George W. Bush adviser Karl Rove said Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “America Reports” that President Joe Biden had to agree to debate former President Donald Trump because his numbers were “bad.”
Rove said, “Not surprised there will be debates but I am surprised that Vice President Biden woke up to the fact that he was looking like he was trying to avoid debates. If there had not been debates whoever the American public held responsible for the absence of debates would suffer in the polls. He is finding his numbers bad enough already and probably decided I better stop up and look like I am eager to debate. And it will be wild. I think it will be one part of this will be very useful for the American people.”

This is fake news. He’s savvy and cunning. If Trump goes in thinking Biden is stupid and can’t put 2 sentences together Trump will lose the debate, the election his freedom and possibly his life. I hope he gets that. Biden is the President of the most powerful country of the world. He’s not incapable at all.

All he has to do is shout a lot, and use well-worn soundbites from days gone by. Remember, long term memory is pretty resistant to dementia until the latter stages, which Biden has not yet hit. He can probably recite campaign speeches and vignettes from the 1988 campaign. For example speaking at the reception for police widows and orphans he has used the exact same demagogic phrases for three straight years, including the obligatory Beau crap.
