David DePape, the man convicted of breaking into the home of House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and bludgeoning her husband with a hammer was sentenced to 30 years in prison Friday by a federal judge.
DePape was convicted in November of attempting to kidnap a federal official and assaulting a federal official’s family member after a four-day trial. A jury returned a verdict after less than 10 hours of deliberation.

Just deport him. I don’t think he’s an American. I doubt if he would come running back for the same treatment. Maybe after Nancy takes her final catnap.

Same here. I don’t think the attack was random. The whole thing was just too odd. So DePape knew things. I thought for sure he’d get a sweetheart deal of some sort in return for his silence.
On the other hand, Jeffrey Epstein’s procurer Ghislaine Maxwell knew things, too. And she got 20 years.
Maybe I should just get out of the trial prediction business.
He attacked royalty.
So Nancy Pelosi, the Patron Saint of Insider Trading, is protected from any more attacks by this guy. I wonder if the security cameras on his cell have been turned off already.

Maxwell was a cohort and shee did really bad things.
In her case sentencing her to 20 always seemed to me,the less she was & the less she was seen was to the better & benefit of those public figures who participated in Jeffies schemes.

I have considered that Maxwell might have gotten 20 years of protection.
