Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that Democrats need to make the Supreme Court an election issue.
Blumenthal said, “What I think we need to do now is put the Supreme Court on the ballot, say that membership on the Supreme Court is going to be a lasting impact of this election, and that the choices as to who will replace the current justices likely will be made by the next president. The choices we make in this election will determine whether or not the Supreme Court really reflects America. As to its plummeting support in the American public, you know, the Supreme Court is a fundamentally anti-democratic institution, chosen by a president, elected by no one, sitting for life. If it begins losing trust, as it’s doing, it will be very, very difficult for it to recover. But we need to make sure that there is support for a Supreme Court that would reflect America’s basic values.”

Blumenthal is a Democrat who, like most democrats, think laws and the constitution are supposed to be flexible, to bend to the whim of the moment.
He, like most Democrats, are too stupid or ignorant to understand that American is built on an unchanging rock that is the constitution, which shapes America's values, and if he doesn't like it, he can try and get an article V convention together to change it.

The Supreme Court is a very diverse group.
There are five men and four women. That’s as even a split between the sexes as you can have.
White men are a minority on the Supreme Court nowadays. So for those who like to complain that white men have disproportionate power in this country, the Supreme Court is not an example of that.
Black people are overrepresented on the Supreme Court because two out of nine members, over 20% , are black whereas the American population is approximately 13% black.
1/3 of the Supreme Court are members of some minority group.
If you’re looking for diversity in powerful positions, the Supreme Court is a good guide to that , based on the Liberals own criteria for diversity.

Our entire congressional delegation is a disgrace and should be kicked out, but this being Connecticut they will probably die in office of old age. The Bill of Rights was put in there explicitly to prevent politicians like them from taking away our freedoms. The Democrats are whining because the justices are making judgements based on the Constitution rather than their feelings.
