NATO, the U.S.-led military alliance of Western nations, expressed condolences to the Iranian people for the death of their brutal president, Ebrahim Raisi, after he and other high-level officials were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
NATO spokeswoman Farah Dakhlallah posted on X: “Our condolences to the people of #Iran for the death of President Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and others who perished in the helicopter crash.”

You are correct, the Islamic Terrorist Iran/Ayatollah problem could have been entirely avoided.
The next NATO member will be Iran. Why not since Turkey is in.
So we’ll send 18 year olds into the desert to fight Islamic assholes ( I was going to say terrosists but assholes is correct) while Ivy legue grads spout it’s all OK to love those same assholes.
I propose that we instead send the Ivy League assholes to basic training and put them into the desert as our surveillance and tripwire force. We then get the state university kids from rural and suburban America to run our foreign policy, which will immediately take a Trumpian, America First, take no crap line.
They also know how to hunt and fish and that, in determined hands, hard power beats soft power every time.
