A salute to FR: In the first 165 posts, there were a few comments that were off the mark, but FR’s educated and informed members also hit that nail exactly on the head. We still didn’t get bin Laden, yet, but FR identified this as terrorism, identified the ringleader, recognized that there might be more planes, and suggested that this is a military problem and not a law enforcement problem. Not bad at all for the first 32 minutes of a new world.

That old saw paraphrased “...forget history..doomed to repeat it..” If any current or future American government leaders and officials forget this, may they go straight to Hell and suffer for eternity.
There would have been 10,000 posts on this thread but the internet broke within a short time after the first plane hit. I couldn’t get FR to reload so I just stared at the TV. When I bicycled home at about 11:00 AM it was like a ghost town because everyone was staring in disbelief at their TV.<p.
The next time I listened to music the song I happened to hear had the lyric “The world is a scary place now that you’ve opened up the demon IN ME, get up come on get down with the sickness”.
I will never forget.
