WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The head of a major U.S. business group that represents 14,000 companies including Exxon Mobil Corp, Pfizer Inc and Toyota Motor Corp urged senior U.S. officials to consider removing President Donald Trump from office after supporters of the outgoing president stormed the U.S. Capitol.
National Association of Manufacturers President and CEO Jay Timmons said Trump “incited violence in an attempt to retain power, and any elected leader defending him is violating their oath to the Constitution and rejecting democracy in favor of anarchy.... Vice President (Mike) Pence, who was evacuated from the Capitol, should seriously consider working with the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to preserve democracy.”

Jay Timmons must be a real scumbag.
Capital strike is the term we need to start using.
Stay home, sit on your dollars.
You are right. It is very hard to defend an election that may well have been fraudulently rigged and stolen in order to put in place a senile, corrupt Democrat with business ties to China.
Is anyone surprised that some Americans are very angry about that?
Who are these pricks? I want to know who to boycott.
that sounds real democratic!
“This explains why nearly every commercial I see is a freaking sick social engineering debacle.”
No kidding. I don’t watch a lot of TV, but when I do the commercials are heavy with bi-racial couples, gay couples, or flat-out entirely “people of some color other than white.” And in the rare instances where a white male is part of the commercial, he is inevitably depicted as a clueless dweeb.

The coup/death of America, happened on election day/night: 3 November 2020!

Corporations partnering with the government on removal of a President .... the very definition of fascism!
Yep! Fascism not communism!
Very quick to comment. Seems staged, orchestrated, preplanned?
Wouldn’t bother me if Trump bombed his businesses.
Tell me again WHY I vote for shills for corporations that send American jobs overseas, again?
[[[Corporations partnering with the government on removal of a President .... the very definition of fascism.]]]
State sponsored capitalism and authoritarianism.
Sound familiar?
Oooh, looks like some folks who need their necks stretched!
.
‘corporate group’ ?? (chinese run? rich lefists ? ) some are becoming traitors now too ?
Rich Industrialist colluded with Hitler and the SS and had all those concentration camps to work for slave labor, so its not uncharacteristic for some to act like they are now.
Let these pay the price of picking the wrong side.
.
Those children are victims.
Prior to his appointment as NAM president and CEO in January 2011, Jay [Timmons] roles at the organization included service as executive vice president and senior vice president of policy and government relations.
IOW, a swamp creature and Rino who held office as manufacturing disappeared from the USA until Trump began to turn the tide.
I would agree - as I wrote, my 98 year old mother who suffered from dementia had a ballot mailed to her rest home. It was collected by a staff member who “advised” the residents about the ballot and candidates and “assisted” them in voting. This staff member ( apparently thinking I was a lib) proudly told me my mother and the others in Assisted living all voted for the “Biden ticket”. My mother didn’t know Biden from Trump, but never voted for a democrat in her life. She did this time, altho she never knew it.
As for large scale fraud that would provably change an election - I haven’t seen evidence of such.
