That is my take on that thread, as well.
This thread is not comprised of all like-minded posters so I'm sure there are a variety of opinions on organ donation.
Exactly. They're already criticizing other posters.
My view is that my driver's license is marked that my organs may be harvested.
Check post #2561. Care to chime in?
BTW, on CNN programs worth watching, I recommend Anderson Cooper's show that airs at 7pm eastern (5pm my time, now, 4pm next week when everyone changes clocks but we don't).
I haven't heard a single person in the "real world" try to pin any blame on the Republicans in general or W and Jeb in particular.
Freepers, we need you back out there!
Who are you ...... the crossing guard?
Maybe you should keep your aggressive, unwarranted, and unrequested orders to yourself.
At least you could have spelled "quiet" correctly. Didn't do too well in school, eh?
Now, lighten up please. Right now is no time for fighting and silly and presumptuous orders from you.
The young lady has died.

Some of the people on this forum killed Terri Shindler Shiavo as surely as if they had pulled the tube themselves. Their opposition contributed to the paralysis that prevented those in a position to do something from taking effecting action. They are the nine Republicans who prevented action in the Florida senate. They are the 8 Republicans of 12 on the 11th Circuit who did not grant injunction and review de novo. They are the 7 of 9 Republicans on the Supreme Court who turned a deaf ear. (Including Rehnquist who upheld Terri's death sentence eight years ago)
I call them FRINOS and the enemy within on the moral social agenda. Without its moral HALF, the Republican Party is nothing and they REFUSE to accept that.

I agree, annyokie...This thread is a sanctuary against most of the shrillness.
This situation has been a great example of how people by recycling and slightly modifying and intensifying their previous statements, can move themselves from the point of rational caring to the point of irrationality. Someone should write a paper on it.
Jesus said that when we judge others, we have a "beam" or log in our own eye. This "beam" is our own pride in placing ourselves above our fellow man and becoming his judge. Only God can judge man, not other men".

Wanted this to be posted again. Thank you for these words.
Now add this thread into the mix. The divisions are going to be hard to heal.

I'll bump that one.
Thanks. The disconnect, as I see it, is the inability of many to accept that the issue has been litigated for so many years and all avenues exhausted---legally.
Like it or not, advocating chaos over a ruling one disagrees with is sending the nation down the road to anarchy.
