Sweetie- if you have the contitution of steel- sure...go ahead. I've ventured out a couple times...ran home stat:)
The whole 'A tragedy happened in America. Nazi Germany was a tragedy. Thus, America is Nazi Germany' argument is embarrassing, pathetic, and juvenile. Not only that, but when you act like a crazy person, there's no way your going to sway people over to your way of thinking. They'll just write you off as kooks. This mob is acting crazy, and snuffing out the hope that people will take away anything from Terri's death other than 'It was a media circus, and there were a buncha nutty zealots wavin U.S. flags with swastikas on em'.
Real persuasive guys.
All this energy could have been channeled into a responsible, respectable grassroots push to pressure a change in our laws. Instead, it's been a showcase of the lack of class, decorum, and historical perspective of our extremist elements. As angry as I am at this dumb law, I'm even more upset at how the passion that could have been channeled to fix it instead was blown on incendiary, feel good raving.
