I'll assume the poster meant "dearth." In any event, it's curious that one would think that just because a "prayer" isn't trumpeted loudly on a website, it hasn't actually been expressed to God. Or does God only receive and answer prayers via the internet these days?
I agree.
But also many of us did post prayers and "rest in peace". My first post upon hearing the news was to offer prayers(something I rarely announce, preferring to privately say a prayer) so the post saying this was not done was plain and simply a flat out lie.
