House Majority Leader Tom DeLay apologized Wednesday for using overheated rhetoric on the day Terri Schiavo died, but refused to say whether he supports impeachment of the judges who ruled in her case.

If you ask me there's nothing to apologize for, as far as I'm concerned Delay and the House should have been tougher. The activist judges who would yank the plug and starve us to death deserve no support whatsoever.

I agree. DeLay was RIGHT in the first instance. There is no need to backdown or back off PERIOD. In fact, they should be "dealing with" Greer NOW. IF Greer gets away with what he's done, then I don't see the Congress ever dealing with rogue judges. The time to start is RIGHT NOW!! If Tom D. got the support from the Republicans that he SHOULD get, there wouldn't be any need for these "explanations". I hope the people make a very concerted effort to rid the Republican party of RINO'S!!

Well, he did pull a Trent Lott, I wonder who or what got to him? I'm not having a lot of faith in many Republicans anymore and I certainly not support the Democrats either. Noted muckraker and author, David Graham Phillips (1867-1911), noted even back 100+ years ago that there is a "gentleman's agreement" between the parties so there are times there is not a lot of difference between them. I'm seriously looking at third parties although I've been toying with that since 1992 but I still stuck with the Republicans. 2008, well, it depends what we get, some say that idea will sweep in the Democrats. There is a nihilist streak in me saying maybe that would be for the better although there will be pain in the process but if things get so low, it would trigger something of a battle to bring about positive change. It's like hitting the reboot button on the computer. Then again, the social libertines want to force their evil agenda on all of us and the Democrats are the vehicle of choice so as Edmund Burke said, "for evil to triumph, it would take good men to do nothing." Still though, with the RINO's and wimping out, we are still choosing a slower route down the drain. I guess I'll have to watch things and see how they develop.
