Per the NJ Drivers Manual, Chapter 4: Drivers are required to stay to the right except while passing. Passing should be to the left, with some exceptions (passing a car making a left turn, full lanes of traffic travelling same direction). I have watched NJ Troopers pull over left lane hogs.

Here is a quote from the NJ drivers manual:

Most passing should be made on the left. Pass on the right only on roads with more than one lane going in the same direction if vehicles on the roadway are moving in two or more substantially continuous lines, or if the driver ahead is making a left turn. New Jersey prohibits passing on the right shoulder of the roadway.

Most passing should be made on the left.

Seems obvious that you should stay right except to pass....apparently, left-laners are "special" and this should not apply.

Here is a quote from the NJ drivers manual.....Which says exactly what I said it did. And don't forget the keep right unless passing thing.
