I still cannot understand why he could not let her parents care for her.It was a tragedy.No one said he could not continue on with his life.It was sooo wrong in my opinion.
It leads me to believe he was complicit in her condition.

Because of his conviction that their care of her was different than what he thought she wanted for herself.
