Ann Coulter weighs in on Darwinism

I’m happy to report that I was in constant correspondence with Ann regarding her chapters on Darwinism — indeed, I take all responsibility for any errors in those chapters. :-)

Oh yeah...and have you also noticed how pro-abortion peoples are not constructionists in their judicial philosophy (again...not conservative in their thinking).

The Founding Fathers' writings/statements, along with government documents and records, provides primary source documentation that the Creator (specifically mentioned in the Declaration of Independence) is the God of the Bible...Do you dispute this historical fact?

Many of the Founding Fathers were deists. Our form of government reflects this. I for one am glad we do not live in a theocracy. Try to find Jesus, Christianity, etc. in the Constitution.

Other than her disagreement with your evolutionary beliefs, was all of it nonsense? Or were you offended in general by her all encompassing attack on the church of liberalism?

I am not a liberal, but when Ann spouts this type of nonsense, she should be called on it.

Can you give an example of a current political figure?

You asked in general, and I replied in such. I do not know enough about the private thoughts of our political figures to answer that question. And neither do you for that matter.

"Have you ever noticed how pro-abortion politicians/peoples are usually also pro-gun control, pro-affirmative action, pro-gay rights and etc., etc., etc."

Have you ever noticed how some pro-life *conservatives* will vote strictly on the one issue of abortion?

To paraphrase something someone once said,

Loyal conservatives are not single issue voters that make every issue about evolutionary science abortion .

Before you say it, I'm not pro-abortion.

In my 50 years of living and voting since I was 18, I have never once voted for a democrat. EVER. Bet not many folks can say that, even here on FR.

Those that were possibly deists still believed that the Creator was the God of the Bible (that belief is not incompatible with deism).

I didn't mention the name Jesus (though He is the Creator).

"...I for one am glad we do not live in a theocracy...Try to find Jesus, Christianity, etc. in the Constitution."

This verbiage is akin to something that an ACLU-type would use. A discussion with these types about God-given rights ends up just like this one (with the ridiculous opining of the potential establishment of the dreaded theocracy, and so forth).

I am not a liberal...

Then...don't argue like one.

Ann is dead on right about the church of liberalism...I am glad that she is addressing it in the manner that she is addressing it.

Do you disagree with every point that she makes in the book?

You avoided a straight forward question with a non-answer.

Name a current political figure that is pro-abortion and then conservative on other issues (or just name a pro-abortion conservative).

The pro-abortion Republicans are not conservative.

And we don't have to be mind readers...we know by their own statements, stated positions and votes.

Hey CG,

The abortion issue seems to be an indicator of a persons overall political leaning and belief system...not just a single issue.

Can you name a pro-abortion conservative (who isn't also pro-gay rights, pro-affirmative action, pro-gun control and etc.)?

To paraphrase something someone once said,

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

And...I wasn't going to say it.

"The abortion issue seems to be an indicator of a persons overall political leaning and belief system...not just a single issue."

And yet so many *conservatives* use that one issue (abortion) as the only one when they vote, whether the candidate is conservative on anything else.

Please name a pro-abortion conservative (they don't exist...why should anyone vote for a liberal?).
