I'm talking about treating recreational drugs like a sacrament.
Kind of like treating Satan like Christ IMO.

I know. Your method of treatment is very different from what I've been talking about. You talk about treating them as a religious right -- hands off. I talk about actually addressing the drug problem as an educational and medical problem. It has worked quite effectively with tobacco addiction.

I think the pro-recreational drug warriors do think it is a sacred rite.

It isn't a medical problem, it is a stupidity problem where people started using chemicals they never should have been messing with.

There are two Christian ways to fill a hole. If using putty, one must avoid drunkeness, masturbation and swearing during both the insertion and smoothing procedures of the process. Filling a hole the other way is best done "Missionary" style.

Ditto for alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, saturated fats and a list of other substances that harm the human organism. Addressing the stupidity problem is done via education and medical knowledge. To ignore the medical issues is ignorant of life itself. BTW, if drugs weren't a medical problem no person would become addicted to drugs -- legal or illegal drugs -- but some people are addicted.

plasters it into the pipe much as a Christian would fill a hole with putty

I'm sure that makes sense to *somebody*... Man it would have worked if they said, he refilled it "with reverence" or he filled it religiously... Oh well. I guess it didn't occur to the Author to say he filled it like a glassy-eyed dope-addled Opium fiend...Ugh!

So go ahead and judge me for trying to protect my family from this crap

I wish I could have protected my step-mother from this one drug that's total crap. She died at 39 from abusing it. Cirhosis of the liver, very nasty stuff. Unforunately for me, for whatever reason, this drug has been deemed legal by the government. This same particular drug also killed this poor girl up at CSU a few years back from overdose. Oh, for whatever reason, this particular drug doesn't use the word 'overdose,' it uses the word 'poisoning.' And the violence I've seen from the overuse of this drug is staggering. If I'm going to protect my children from 'dope,' this garbage is the first thing I'll try to protect them from. If only it could be made illegal somehow....

Here's a proposal. Take your accusation to the mods. If your accusation is true, my account is banned. If your accusation is false, you terminate your account.

Call or fold?

"Kind of like treating Satan like Christ IMO."

Satan means adversary, as in, possessed of a will which is adverse to the will of God.

GOD MADE HERB
GOD SAW THAT IT WAS GOOD
GOD GAVE IT TO MAN

Genesis 1:11
Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so.

Genesis 1:12
And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:29
And God said, "See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

Anyone, demonizing this herb while persecuting its possessors and seeking its eradication is acting adverse to the expressed will of God! Evil has no substance but is merely the absence of the presence of God. Heretics rule as they attempt to demonize this herb and force all to follow their revamped Manichaean heresy. All such drug warriors and DEAmen are devout satanists despite all delusions created by their master that they are angels seeking a greater good at the end of a gun. Their only hope for salvation is to seek the peace which Christ taught, put down the gun by which they enforce heresy, become like Christ, a child of God.

Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Addiction is a concoction of the satanic psych community.
It denies the existence of free will and thereby freedom.
This faction, or sub-Oligarchy, attempts to control the wills of others in matters outside the purview of government for their inherently private and religious nature as bound by the Constitution. It is treason to usurp the bounds of power detailed in our Constitution in order to force your will upon the wills of others no matter how much faith of conviction as to the rightfulness of that will you possess. They will have you believe they are the angels to save you from the evil substance. However, this is an ancient heresy, for evil has no substance. Evil is nothing but the abscence of the presence of God or willfull action adverse to the will of God. In whose name do the DEAmen in black armor and black masks break down the doors of homes to shoot innocent citizens in their beds for the mere possession of an herb from the Garden of God?

I found that observation to be a little flaky myself. Why use Christian? Why not Muslims, Hindus, or Atheists? Totally distracted me.

The language and the way of looking at things change. You cannot expect writers of XIX century to accommodate people living more than hundred years later.

He is disabled. His memory problems I attribute to MJ.

A very scientific statement, followed by a diatribe against COCAINE. The results of this are conclusively inconclusive, just like your "pet theory" of your child's problems.

Now, then, what were we talking about?

The only thing the OB is for is to catch. The joke around some schools they are the drop-kickers on the team. Nice to have in a real emegency though.

I'm a firm believer that no one forces you to take drugs unless it's at gun point.

"MOJAVE" is a disingenuous euphemism for dope.

Sounds about the same, and has about the same effect.

The premise is reiterated to Peter as a lesson on rfeceiving strangers...

Acts 10: 9About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. 13Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."

14"Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."

15The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."

16This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

17While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon's house was and stopped at the gate. 18They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying there. 19While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Simon, three[a] men are looking for you. 20So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them."

21Peter went down and said to the men, "I'm the one you're looking for. Why have you come?"

22The men replied, "We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to have you come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say." 23Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests.

I wonder if there is any thirst in the desert?

No, but marijuana can surely cure your ignorance! If you had any actual knowledge of it, maybe you would make some decent points.

Your use during high school doesn't count! I won't discount the six-(30?)packs, though! Nor will I give credence to your claims of decency and well-considered response. You're a pompous ass, who actually thinks somebody cares...

You are fun, though, and I would love to see the color on your cheeks!
