I don't think it has anything to do with any teaching going on in the classrooms.
Time after time the young angry kids turn out to be social loners who feel ignored at home and who feel they are made fun of at school. They play violent video games - they listen to Marilyn Manson and other suicidal hard rock music. They fantasize about killing the kids who make fun of them.They group together with likeminded disaffected kids.
In some cases (such as Columbine) they actually manage to fill their room with an arsenal of weapons without the the knowledge of clueless parents (would YOUR kid be able to collect guns/grenades, keep them in their room - and you never suspect a thing?)
Afterwards when the police go through their stuff they leave behind strange rantings against their classmates about society and obsessions with death.
I've never read about a shooter leaving behind rantings about not liking the class subject matter or about creation/evolution.
I do know the Columbine shooters despised God and shot one girl who said she believed in Him.
It isn't one thing we can point to...it is a bunch of sad circumstances that come together in the mind of an unbalanced kid.
But these recent shootings are noew...the shooters are older.They're done with school, and for some reason they return. The kids they are shooting have had nothing to do with their lives.
I doubt this has had anything to do with subject matter in the classroom either.
I agree with you that it's a bunch of bad things that cause rage in people that do school shootings. But I think you are still not seeing the damage that is done to a childs soul to teach them a false theory that goes against commonsense. Kids may not express it and the anger may come out at other things. I know that the way evolution was taught to me created a doubt about God and the Bible and that just made it easier for bad things to happen in my life. I wasn't unique in that way I am sure.
