"But I think you are still not seeing the damage that is done to a childs soul to teach them a false theory that goes against commonsense. Kids may not express it and the anger may come out at other things. I know that the way evolution was taught to me created a doubt about God and the Bible and that just made it easier for bad things to happen in my life. I wasn't unique in that way I am sure."

I think you are taking a personal experience and projecting onto others.
I too was taught the theory of evolution as were my friends.
I never once doubted God and the Bible because I figured that God could create life anyway He wanted to.
The bible doesn't even have the sun and the moon appearing until the 4th day. Yet - on the 3rd day He creates the vegetation.
We don't know how long these "days" are in the bible, and we do see a progression in Genesis from 1. elements necessary to support life being established 2.vegetation 3. establishing the sun & moon 4.animal life 5.human life.

So....I am open to either interpretation - that God could have instantly created these things - or that He could have gradually created these things.
I don't agree with what I was taught that it was due to random mutations - but then again, I don't agree with other things I was taught.

I'm not trying to turn this into a creation vs evolution discussion - there's plenty of those...I'm just showing that introducing the concept in a classroom doesn't necessarily create anger in someone.
You obviously think there is a connection - but I think there are other factors that would send a person into this kind of action.

Now we are learning this particular shooter had molested kids before and he was planning on molesting these girls.
This too has nothing to do with creation vs. evolution in the classroom.

It's not that I'm projecting...I just understand that there are alot of vunerable kids without a father in the home. The better the home life, the more kids are able to discard falsehood like you did. But I, like many, had a troubled upbringing and the evolution fallacy is harmful and so dishonestly taught without the holes being exposed. It's part of the social engineering of the darkside using unwitting educators as it's tool. I do agree that the truth is fairly easily seen eventually. But it does still cause anger and confusion in some, at least for a while.
