I really must apologize to you. I don't have any sort of a problem with you. At all. I didn't mean to sound so harsh in my original post to you. I just would like to get across the idea that first off, crime is everywhere...and is increasingly inching it's way into rural America. The Crips & the Bloods and MS13 are popping up in places like IOWA to start meth labs and branches of youth gangs. I also want you to be cognizant of the need to affirm gun ownership so that we as Americans and as FREEPERS present a united front. Somebody could twist your words to say: See THIS freeper is obviously a sensible gunowner...she knows that guns are for hunting and not carrying for self defense...in fact SHE doesn't even know anybody who carries...so obviously this is a characteristic of the lunatic fringe and those are the folks we're really worried about so let's push this legislation.... Do you see? I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to be offensive.

That's okay. I'm not offended. I know what you are saying and for the most part I do agree with it. It's scary to see our dear nation changing so dramatically but I do trust in God to care for me and if He wants me to get a gun, I will do so, not because I'm afraid of someone who could harm me in some way. You really have little control over someone who is intent on doing that. They'll find a way. That's why I constantly pray for God to put a hedge of protection around us, our families, our loved ones, our church, our village, etc. God bless.
