Exactly. while there's always going to be problems between parents and kids, from everything I've seen/read about the Amish, they seem to have a wonderful family situation. And I believe there's a lot of support in the extended family/community as a whole.
I've tried to read everything I can about the Amish. Honestly, I admire them and am a bit envious. I love to cook & quilt & garden. Seriously, I really wish sometimes that I could live a lifestyle like the Amish.

Call came in to Harrisburg dispatch center.
Georgetown Amish School... one room schoolhouse ... children and teachers aides within ... in open area.
Unable to communicate directly with suspect ... threatened to shoot within 10 seconds through intermediary contacted by cell phone ... multiple shots heard ... had shotgun and automatic handgun [same as Bailey, CO perp!].
Troopers had to break windows to enter schoolhouse ... found 3 females shot dead ...
