Well, believe what you wish I'm not a religious person. Studied Native American religion for awhile that's about as close as it gets.
I believe my comment explains more like the bully that picks on you every day. At first you may not hate them but as time goes on with repeated bullying you begin too. Then if not stopped it becomes larger than yourself.
