Have either of you ever heard the story of the woman who told her children not to put beans up their nose? I’m guessing you haven’t.

Can’t say that I have. I imagine it’s nothing to sneeze at, though.

one of the funniest things I remember as a child is this.. We were in an A&P store and a boy in the aisle next to us asked his mother for change so he can get a gumball. He must have asked ten times and she finally relented and gave him a few pennies. He then got a few gumballs out of the machine and asked his mom, “what can I do with these extra balls”.. I have a vivid memory of her saying “for crissakes, chew them but don’t stick them up your nose”..
By the time we packed the car and left, the paramedics had arrived because the boy jammed three chewed gumballs in his nose. The kid’s mom was flipping out in the parking lot and my dad was laughing his ass off as we drove away.
Good times..
