Is the Allah the same deity as the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob?

Nope, I'm a Catholic, and I don't believe that. Though that comes from the Catechism, it comes from a document that was issued by a pastoral council, not a doctoral one. I am free to disagree with that. In fact, in can be argued that the Jews don't worship the same God as Christians, since they don't believe in the Trinity.
