my son attends Gonzaga College HS, a Catholic all boys HS in DC. he told me a few weeks ago that the black student association brought a black minister in as an assembly for black history month. everyone was required to attend. he said the guy basically had some blame whitey rhetoric and that he draped an obama tshirt over the podium at the beginning of his talk. my son was OUTRAGED by the entire thing. i asked him if anyone else thought it was inappropriate. he said no, they don't know any better. sounds like your daughter woudl have been ok with it also.
Strange you would say that after the admission you just made.
