[For a forger]...a blank form from before they officially became a Republic would be needed. I highly doubt any had been saved. IF this is a hoax, he had no other option but to use their current form no matter what research he did.

Yeah, but the forger picks the date. If he had a form that was good from after December 1964, well, he could have picked a date later in the 1960's. Ann had plenty of family law issues during that decade that could be used as a reason for requesting a BC.

If there are other examples of Kenya unexpectedly having documents referring to the Republic of Kenya when their official name Dec 1963-1964 was the Dominion, then this is the best proof yet that it is authentic, because a forger with a Republic blank and a Google search would think to avoid pre December 1964 time period.

More likely is the forger didn't sweat the details enough, and used the Republic blank during the wrong time period. Dang.

WND claims to have other examples of BC's from that period. Well, WND, out with them!

You bring up a point I didn't think of - the Feb '64 date. Thinking it was a given but no realizing how it had to fit w/in a scenario. Someone posted here - Ann's filing for divorce in Jan 64 and it was final on Mar 64.

Well, you gave me 'some' hope back. However, can't dismiss the "Republic" thing.
