I’m trying to get inside Ann/Stanley’s mom’s head. Why would she announce grandson Barack’s birth in the Hawaii newspaper? Was she trying to legitimize and Americanize it in some way? That’s assuming she adhered to early 1960s mores which, although inching toward liberal, were still often quite traditional. I graduated from a public high school in Orlando in 1969, and out-of-wedlock pregnancy was still a hushed, shameful event. I wonder what her parents thought about her global cavorting and loose lifestyle?

The bigger question is why wasn’t the announcement for the Nordyke twins, born on the same day, in any of the papers in Hawaii. Microfilm was checked for a month after and there was nothing. Why was the address in the birth announcement fake? If these are automatically generated by the hospital and sent to the papers, why were the Nordyke twins missing? Perhaps the microfilm was tampered with and the Nordyke’s were removed and Obama inserted. Of course if someone has managed to locate an actual newspaper from that date and the Nordyke’s is there, but Obama’s is not, then someone committed a crime and a cover up, right?
You would be amazed at how many people save newspapers for one reason or another and next thing you know, they are up in their attic or garage looking for that birth announcement so they can save it. :P
Many years ago when I was young I had an avid interest in reading old archived newspapers at in public libraries, I remember several days I spent in New Orleans when I was 18 awaiting my navy papers and I was able to access newspapers on microfiche from all over the country.
What I am saying is that another city may very well have Hawaii’s newspapers on file, I know I have seen them.
So its possible that the filing error may come to light if one were to go on a road trip, like maybe..Seattle.
That’s what I’ve said about the newspapers. The twins mother showed their bc’s the other day but she didn’t mention the newspaper announcement (crazy to post them on the internet, imo). Or rather it was supposed to be their mother and bc’s but I doubt everything having to do with Hussein... which might be the plan... grabbing my tin-foil
