I have never read that Ann gave birth to Barry and three weeks later gave him to her parents to raise. Madelyn Dunham was working in the bank. Suppose gramps could have bottle fed. But who in their right mind would abandon their kid, after carrying him for 9 months, and run off thousands of miles away to go to school. She was supposedly married at that time.
