I thought Obama was born 04 August 1961? In which case, what relevance does a 1964 birth certificate have?

Feb 1964 was the middle of Anna Obama/Stanley Dunham’s divorce filing against BO Sr, and a legal, certified (raised seal, by issuer) document identifying the child’s birth identity and parents would have ben required by the court as part of the divorce and custody hearing

If you obtain a copy of your birth certificate from your state’s dept of vital records, it will show the date the certified copy was issued and by what certifying authority

Relevance would be that the one he showed on FactCheck and Kos both were dated 2007. So, I guess we could say where is the relevance for that one?

Relevance for the copy of the Kenyan Birth Certificate dated 1964 is that is when Stanley requested a birth certificate for her divorce proceedings. If I ordered one of my childrens birth certificates today it would be dated 2009 with information of their birth in 199* which was the year that they were born.

He was born in 1961, this is a certified copy of his Kenyan birth certificate that was requested in 1964 (presumably for the divorce of Obama’s parents).
