That was an artifact from Freeper Salamander’s effort to make the exhibit document more legible. She has explained that ad infinitum, apparently to no avail.

Yes, and why is the little reddish-brown crumb of food (or whatever) BELOW the crease in the "MOTHER" field of the original image, unlike the "punked" one that has it ON the crease?
