Not all of Michele Bachmann's family shares her far-right views. As the media has been aware for sometime, the Minnesota Republican has an openly gay stepsister, Helen LaFave. While shying from the spotlight, LaFave has publicly opposed Bachmann's anti-gay stance since the congresswoman proposed a gay-marriage ban in the Minnesota Senate (as the Daily Beast reported earlier this year).
LaFave's political differences from Bachmann's go beyond the spheres of LGBT rights, however, as a short clip discovered on Vimeo suggests. Captured outside the U.S. Capitol in 2009 when Obama was sworn in, the video shows a friendly LaFave (who appears with her long-term partner Nia Wronski) telling the videographer of her excitement about the "reawakening of the country" and the "start of something new." Wronski expresses a desire to see more barriers broken down.
Interestingly, LaFave mentions that she drove down to the event from Minneapolis with six other family members and received tickets "through one of the congresspeople." Bachmann was already a U.S. congresswoman by this time (she assumed office in 2007), though we have no idea if she helped her stepsister gain access.

Bachmann was once a diehard Dem. She changed, but perhaps some of her family members never did.
It looks like the black sheep has come out of the closet and is going to become a heroine of the commie left. There’s some big money in that.
It was not a matter of “if” but a matter of “when”. Actually, better all this guano comes out NOW! The mass media is shooting their wadd (pardon the expression) way too soon on that, so I would rather for the candidate to take the lumps now rather than something like November or December in the lead up to the caucuses. You do see how they are doing the same thing to Herman Cain as well, God Bless Him.

I agree, this is a non-starter. Dick Cheney has a gay daughter who also adopted a child.

Don’t jump to conclusions about this LeFave stepsister.
All they have is a short clip of her rejoicing at Obama’s inagural 2 1/2 years ago. That’s it. No indication that she’s doing a Candace Gingrich. No indication that she’s done anything political at all.
If she was doing a Candace we’d have seen and heard a hell of a lot more of her.
In fact, it’s more likely that this is the opening gun in the gays’ campaign to harass and intimidate her into becoming their Judas Goat. Remember how they ruthlessly tried to strongarm Mary Cheney into serving their cause?
Bachmann has had an up-close and first-hand view of the trials of a “homosexual lifestyle” - so I expect that experience probably made Bachmann’s views on the issue all that much clearer and stronger.
A friend of mine had a brother “come out” (after marrying a woman and having 2 children) and for my friend, she was able to see very clearly for herself how damaging homosexuality was. Only after that did she form very firm opinions on homosexual practices.

Yep...the most evil thing you can do is say that homosexual marriage is wrong (something that every single moral person would think). If you are against homosexual acts (which are disgusting and demeaning to the human body) they will send their homosexual mafia in to destroy you.....they are Marxist thugs, just like the ACORN and SIEU thugs....all communists who practice Alinsky techniques....so you do not have the freedom of thought and the freedom of religion.
It is what the homosexual lobby is about—destroy the freedom of thought and religion—they will rewrite the Bible until it states good is evil and evil is good, and they will not rest until it gets done. The radicals are Satan.
Their actions and lifestyle are antithetical to the Constitution of the US—which decries fascism and atheism since our inalienable rights come from God. They are out to destroy God-given rights and create man made “rights’ out of sex acts which cause disease and death. US is insane if they fall for the Big Lie and idiocy because it will be unjust law that denies Natural Law and destroys the biological rights of children. It is Marxism.
They are forcing this junk science on our children...to pervert their development at crucial points so it destroys their logic and reasoning and perverts their natures. The behavior is learned and modeled.
This makes me curious about candidate’s relatives.
Someone please point me to any number of articles on Hussein’s step-siblings (how many?).
Does he perchance have a brother still in Kenya? Who might be living in a hut?
Is there mayhap an Aunt who is on public housing in the Northeast United States? Is she an illegal alien? Has she been fraudulently collecting government benefits for several decades?
Did the POTUS not recently say that he has an extra couple hundred thousand dollars that he didn’t need?

Notice they don’t have a lot of interviews with stepbrother George Obama, living in squalor in a Nairobi slum. How’s that Hope and Change working out for old George.
His brother, Barack, has hundreds of thousands he doesn’t need according to Barack the other day. Why doesn’t he buy a nice house for George? Obama is devoid of imagination.

I suspect she's more a theocrat in constitutionalist's clothing than a libertarian, small government, constitutional conservative.
Since she has no executive experience, few if any accomplishments in moving forth a legislative agenda, all we have are empty words and some "no" votes. We're left reading tea leaves instead of tearing into a deep record!
