In 1979, Reagan had already run 2 presidential campaigns and had an experienced campaign staff and fundraising apparatus all ready to go. He could afford to wait. Sarah has no experience running a national campaign, no experienced staff, and no fundraising apparatus. Also, if Sarah waits until November, she will miss the filing deadline in South Carolina and Florida and will have a hard time meeting the deadlines in Wisconsin and New Hampshire.
Exactly, those are considered drop dead dates. She can do it her way....kinda like Rudy did. We all saw where that got him. So I’d say the first week in October to meet those drop dead dates. There is a lot of leg work to be done along with fees before you hit the final date to be eligible for the first primary.
Well said but it is too much common sense for the Palinista’s too GET.They are stuck on the she is doing what Reagan did’ fantasy and won’t budge.Palin is getting one mil a year to play the tea parties Rove, all power to her.Plain and simple.
Even if she is doing something secret in some book they read she has less of a chance than Bachmann did.I like Palin and what she stands for but this has gotten way out of hand. It is indeed cult behavior and all who are not gullible fools are called PDSer’s.How utterly ridiculous. These Palin worshipers on this forum are the only cultist fools fooling themselves but they don’t believe it.(Mixed with some slick disrupting sleeper trolls)
Also Reagan was a two term Governor of California.. Sarah quit in mid term...
