That right there is an anathema statement to her forever supporters.

I wonder if you can be forgiven for daring to voice that speculation.

I don’t know. My confusion lies in the fact that on the one hand, she is said to have planned on a “late” entry - late compared to others; on the other hand, look at all that has happened in the meantime. She steps into it, if she does, in a situation not foreseen when she made her long ago late entry plan, if indeed that’s true.

Romney is toast, unless...

The conservative vote is badly split among a multiplicity of candidates, each scrambling for their piece of the vote whether or not they have a prayer of winning...

I still think Romney has a big problem due to where the primaries are. We have to wonder, where other than NH will he win?

Perry has a more open road. It looks to me like, right now, it’s Perry’s to lose. However, if Sarah runs now, into that situation, people who support others would have to drop their support of the others and fly to Palin to make her vastly superior to Romney. I’m not certain that would happen.

People of the establishment GOP might be able to rally a “Romney because he’s not Palin” cause.

Thank you kind sir, at least among the “shut your pie hole” and other “shut up” arguments, some intelligent, well-thought discussion and analysis! I love this stuff...speculating is fun. I do love those here who make fun of the Palin purists...I guess I’m one, too, but won’t defend her like some here and actually think she’s human. The “whites of their eyes” guy may have a good point, too. Boy I hope I’m forgiven for speculating about her.
