Paul believes in a strong national defense, but just as Ike warned, we must beware the military-industrial complex. It seems to me the military-industrial complex is running our foreign policy to their own benefit. Perhaps never ending nation building wars are not really in our best interests?

Isn't that the whole point of having Congress involved with cabinet-member selection> To smooth out his deficiency-/unstable-areas?
