For them to have truly hurt me, I would have to have some degree of sentiment invested in them and I assure you, there is none.
I told the story of my father to simply explain how I came to believe the things I do. I was taught.
I won’t share too many details about my past here, mainly because of the group of folks who seem obsessed with picking apart everything or everyone they disagree with. My mother escaped with me and my siblings to the United States where we lived with family and for years, did not know my father’s fate.
Raised to believe the United States was where we would be safe, I believe it to this day.
Don’t take their attacks on me or Jews too personally. They are limited by their lack of education, narrow-mindedness and hatred, whether they realize it or not.

My point-—and I do have one-—is that “fluidity” by a candidate means the vote-crazed pol is “searching” for a way out-—just begging for a position.
Remember, pols are like whores-—they take the position
the client dictates in order to get the payoff.
My point is-—if MittPaul want to get elected-—they gotta do it “our way”....or they ain’t got a prayer.
Graybeard58, this is not directed at you or Politicalmom. But it’s a launch point for me to note that not all FReepers know by heart, or can remember, the personal histories and past posts of all the other FReepers. The frequent admonition of others posters to me has boiled down to “Go search my posts”, with the implication that I ought to remember everything about their thought processes. Not to say that the search feature isn’t valuable to me, but I and others here have to take people’s current posts at their face value and should not have to respond to one particular person’s posting history each time we respond to the actual words used in his current post.
Everyone here does not know every other poster as well as those who may consider themselves the real FReepers, the original crowd, who remember everything except what they don’t.
Much confusion and acrimony can be avoided on Free Republic if we regular posters dedicate themselves to saying exactly what we mean clearly in each post. I’ll quit using “/rhetorical” and others can eliminate the sarcasm which is not clearly indicated as such. That would be a start.

Mitt sure did a lousy job of that in Mass. Maybe he’s got better ideas this time around, I hope he does. I get the sense that Mitt isn’t taking Mormon theology in full seriousness in spite of his elevated position in the organization. He’d surely have stated an intention to name another Mormon as veep if he did take it that seriously.

She was outrageously leftist in all her postings, she was left of anybody at D.U. J.R. left her here so long because of her laugh value and she was so easily debated and defeated.

My post was an answer to another person who referenced MurryMom, so I knew at least that that poster knew who MurryMom was. Not an “insider” or a member who is “in the know”, just answering someone who brought up the subject.
