Recently I read a book called The Real Romney. The author talked to a number of people who worked alongside Mitt in Massachusetts. They said that once he made the decision to run for president, BAM, overnight his liberal stances did a complete 180. He turned his back on the people he'd allied himself with and made promises to, and never looked back.

That was in 2004 halfway through his term of office
for the next 2 years he was absent from MASS quite a bit...
he had already started on the campaign trail..
BTW that suddenly deserting everyone who depended on him to fullfill his promises is an obsessive trait of Willards
he did the same to his partners at Bain in Feb 1999
He up and walked out on them to got to Utah and take over the Olympics...
he left them high and dry...
When he gets offered control of the UN will he up and leave the White house and leave us high and dry ???
