I'm not so sure he has run any more amok than they want him to. He is a dismal failure from the standpoint of doing anything for America, so if they let him run full tilt, they not only accomplish more of their agenda, but Hillary will seem all the more "reasonable" as a candidate and Savior of the Party, which is how they will market her. (That despite her having the same Muslim Brotherhood ties, the dismal failure at Benghazi, and a long list of dirty laundry (not the least of which is Bill).
The usual suspects in the media have been screening her from the fallout over the Libyan debacle, and, as they ran interference for Bill, they will do even more for her.
Have no doubt she will use every tool Obama can put in place as ruthlessly or more so than Obama has.
Keep in mind the State Dept was behind Operation Castaway the whole time Fast and Furious was going on, arming those who would reinstate a Constitutionally ineligible (by virtue of having served his maximum number of terms)president in Honduras in favor of the duly elected government there, and the whole North African thing (Morsi, Libya) starts to fall into place. It is a syndrome, not a symptom, of tampering with foreign governments to remove the duly elected heads of state and replace them with Marxists, Islamists, or both. Obama would have pulled the same in Syria (but cooler heads prevailed), and I still wonder about Kosovo.
That woman cannot be allowed to gain that sort of power, but the GOPe seems to be almost playing ball with the Liberals there, too, and not putting up any credible opposition, either in the Congress or in elections.
It seems they are cleaning up their back trail, eliminating anyone who has the goods on them, scrubbing people like they scrub the web. I think Fuddy is just one more who could have hurt them, and whether or not she stated any intent, they decided the risk was too great.
Imagine the announcement that the last 6-8 years of US Federal Government had been presided over by someone ineligible to hold the office, and you get a peek at the damage to the Liberals, but imagine further that those who knew that to be the case would be subject to prosecution for treason, and you see the stakes they are playing for.
I seriously doubt they would cringe from some wet work to keep their grip on power, not to mention stay out of prison/off the scaffold.
