"Marijuana affects health as does tobacco and is as addictive as well." More H.J. Anslinger/U.S. Gummint-generated horsesh*t from the 1930's. Absolutely, unequivocally wrong on both points. There are enough fact-based arguments against this God-created plant that one needn't spread concocted fallacies to weaken the otherwise arguable opposition.

Are you seriously claiming that inhaling smoke from burning vegetation isn’t bad for your health?

Any and all mood altering drugs are addictive. God created all substances...including some nasty ones.

Experience is a great teacher, and motivator to adjust to the reality of cause and consequences. Aside from the legitimate use of marijuana for medical reasons as well as pain management, the use of it for a crutch to deal with life or escape from reality is not a healthy way to live. To each his own of course. I have known and been acquainted with too many individuals to agree that pot is beneficial to body or soul. I am unacquainted with Anslinger etal. Not lost in the thirties for sure.
