A man has taken to an advice forum, asking for opinions after his sister made a rude remark to his wife on a recent visit.
Taking to the online forum, the man explained that while his sister is 30, she hasn’t had a ‘conventional adulthood’, with stints in and out of rehab. “She lives alone now and doesn’t have much of a social life,” he adds, which is important context for the story.
“Maybe she didn’t know that you don’t say that, ever” He explains, “My wife isn’t a heavy person by any means, but like many, many people, she isn’t quite as thin as she was when we first married, pre-child and all that. Totally normal and obviously I couldn’t care less.”

Could well be, I’m perhaps the only person on the planet who has never watched an episode of Seinfeld. Although I know I use memes and expressions that originated there!

Be careful when dealing in generalities.
My very pregnant wife and I worked together and coming to work one morning, we got on an elevator with four men. One of the guys was a heavyset smart ass & said something to the effect that my wife put on few pounds. The guys in the elevator groaned but my wife turned to him and said, my weight goes away next month, how about yours? This was in the 90s and even then, a line had been crossed but my wife’s reply made everyone laugh instead of worrying about getting called into a HR meeting.
Perhaps she’s on the spectrum.
Better another woman say this, imagine the eruption if a man suggested it.
Maybe just prone to a pot belly. An otherwise cute girl at the gym has that. My wife suggested she was pregnant too, but only to me at least.
In our family we offer analcoholic drink to test the pregnancy rule before making or assuming anything out loud.

I made a similar mistake. I approached a friend and asked, “When are you having that baby?” She replied, “I did—three days ago.” LOLOLOLOLOLOL !
Well, does she have a bigger gut than @$$? It may be indelicate but it’s not complicated. Sisters can be that way.

Possible made up social faux pas clickbait...so what?..someone thought that a protuberant belly is a pregnancy? I’m cryin’....generates clicks....
I knew a lady who had a very rare liver disease which gave her a protuding belly.(not cirrhosis)...I never asked her, but she volunteered the reason for the protruding belly...
I look pregnant. I have a swollen belly, a bit out of proportion…. And I’m a dude.
