I'm tired of these "Be gone Christian. Get yourself to the religious ghetto" remarks. CD

Jim Robinson's house, Jim Robinson's rules.

Those of us who get our posts regularly banished to the religious forum are a bit insensitive when it comes to those which remain on the more active "News" forum, but have the same characteristics as ours.

There are some issues that are primarily secular, and let's say, more akin to the kinds of "news" stories that you see on the nightly news.

Then there are other issues that are clearly of a strictly religious nature. For example, if we want to discuss what it really means to believe in Jesus Christ, and perhaps how the fallen angels have encrusted his original teachings with various false doctrines which have literally ripped the heart out of those teachings over the centuries, well, that would be something for the religion area.

But there are issues where these two areas meet. And that would be where the issues under discussion fall into a public policy area, where those issues also have a very strong religious component. Because of the public policy related dimension of these issues, they should be discussed in the most wide open secular circles. School prayer, abortion, and terrorism, and God, well, they are all intricately linked together.

Even though this thread has a lot to do with the subject of God, because it deals with important public policy issues, it needs to stay where it is.
