In order to accept that statement, and it may be true, you first have to assume MORAL equivalency between Democrats and Republicans. I do not. It may be true that noboby is perfect(duh). Had 9/11 happened on a Dems watch I still think many people would back our leader. Of course I am sure a Democrat President might not have stood as tall as our current president.

Not after such an event as 9-11. And politics is politics... the last 8 years played a much higher game of it than the present and I'll go with the politics of patriotism much more redily than the politics of anti-americanism as long as a republicna is in the white house.

Present day Democrats have no balls, when it comes to PROTECTING the citizens of the U.S. They are wimps. We wouldn't be in this mess had it not been for Sissy Carter. He had no idea what to do to prevent our embassy in IRAN from being taken over by the Fundamentalists. That's what started this mess, IMO. Clintoon just continued his lack of balls by letting the Islamo fundamental facists bomb and kill us around the world without doing anything to protect our citizens. Geez, wake up folks, pay attention to history.

OH, If Clinton had taken the Bush position, I would have backed him 100 %, so long as he let the military be in charge. We're pssed off because he did NOTHING and left us vulnerable.
