Don't underestimate them. Now they are going to re-package the same old crap and pretend they're new conservatives, especially if they see money to be made in any social trend.

However they do this - these are NOT bright individuals. The Koppels, Matthews, etc. These people are idiots. They are literally TOO STUPID to consider something contrary to their views; to admit they could be wrong in their value judgments.

What they'll do is what they've always done. PC. Try to redefine words into their opposite. Morality will be defined to mean, essentially, immorality. Love will be used to describe hate. And so on. They'll lie on Monday, and again on Tuesday, and every day until next Monday. And then they'll start again - year after year after year, until no one listens.

They cannot be reformed. They cannot learn. They cannot change. They must simply become irrelevant.

There are no other options, in my opinion.

Bush doesn't have the time to convince people. He's just one man.

Meanwhile, the liberal media is at it with their 24/7 propoganda machine that demonizes Bush, conservatives, Republicans, etc.

Kay Report
Bush is AWOL
Abu Gharib
9/11 Commission hearings
Bob Woodward
Richard Clarke
CBS forging documents
Biased questions against Bush at the debates
False report of missing explosives.

The liberal media needs to go and it needs to be done forcibly.

So I guess now the media is going to start going on and on about what a media genius Bush is, like they always do about Clinton, right? Oh but since GWB actually has coattails, and when he campaigns for people they actually win, so I guess he, not Clinton, is the political genius of our generation, right? I'm sure the media will start referring to that immediately.

Simple. Incorporate yourself as the "Internet News Bureau, LLC." Get a business license. Issue yourself journalist credentials. You are now a "journalist".

See whatever agency accredits journalists in your city/county/state for a press pass.

Let us not forget that the reason the LA Times suffered a 6% decline in readership is because they are a large circulation MSM newspaper and still they endorsed President Bush for re-election. For that one act I respect them.

Not just the media...

Add Soros' Billions

Retro street theater complete with antiwar protesters

The Palm d'orr

Four years of 'fault and failure'

The best obstructionism the other side of the aisle could muster

Terrorists

The 911 Commission, 'starring' Jamie Gorelick

The deflating Clinton economy

Every ranting Socialist on the planet

The UN and all the other corrupt 'Food for Oil' entities.

And all of it WAS NOT Enough!

That's OUR job!

Nice for you not to notice that the liberal media for the past year almost -- on its own -- defeated President Bush.

But, hey, whatever. Take it in the behind for another four years.

The liberal media was the big looser even before the election and it was well announced. Check it out. Big media is dying on the vine.

LA Times......endorsed President Bush for re-election. For that one act I respect them

When? I didnt see it.

In fact on Monday (11/1) they published a scathing anti-Bush Editorial entitled "A Failed Presidency". I don't think they endorsed Kerry either and I think the reason for that was simply economic prudence - they are desperate not to lose any more subscribers.

Oh yes, that'll get you in as a White House correspondent. < /sarcasm>

You're correct, all sarcasm aside.

There are literally thousands of "recognised" media outlets that don't have White House Press Corps credentials. THAT is a very special hurdle to jump.

Besides, your post referenced a "press pass" and [journalistic] "immunity".

"They cannot be reformed. They cannot learn. They cannot change. They must simply become irrelevant."

The change that they should make takes a long time. It took a long time for people to stop watching. I think they are in denial that their influence over the American people is shrinking, but they can't ignore the numbers of viewers leaving and not coming back.

It will take a helluva lot for the liberal leadership to make changes, but no business can survive for long when their product is considered inferior. If they want to survive they have to change the product. In this case, they have to change the product and also hope they can convince people that their product has improved.

Watch them dress Hillary up in a new light - the bloggers are going to have a field day! Ms. Clinton has never changed her spots; her past is etched in granite.
