If the Republican Governor of Florida, the Republican President, the Republican-controlled Congress and Senate do nothing to save Terry Schiavo, I am going to change my voting registration from Republican to either Constitutional Party or Independent, and tell everybody that I am entirely non-political, I don't trust any major party to look after my interests, both major parties are controlled by the culture of death...and I will hang on religious threads and general interest threads on FR, and I will have no further dealings with volunteering for the Republican party or any of their candidates.
Ouch, that is a pretty strong statement. Frankly I understand. I decided long ago to not make men my hero as even the best of me can let you down, even us conservatives. God is the only one that can make a miracle happen for Terri and how that happens is up to Him. But I tell you what, if Terri dies of starvation I am going to be deeply upset to hear Jeb say he did all he could. I know that is just not enough. I think at this point he has enough to have DCFS remove Terri out of the care of Michael for further invesitation without the consent of Greer. But if that happens or something else good happens we will just have to be patient. I do hope that Jeb does come through for Terri, and yes I can say if not it will it will hurt a lot of conservatives out there the next voting time. He knows good and well he has to do something.
